The Human Resources Business Services Manager will partner closely with plant and functional leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives. This role focuses on talent development, workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within a manufacturing or operations environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with plant and functional leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational goals, emphasizing talent development and workforce planning.
  • Lead change management initiatives and organizational development programs that promote innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Identify high-potential talent and support career pathing, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Leverage HR analytics to identify trends, anticipate workforce needs, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms to foster an inclusive and high-performance workplace.
  • Support and maintain a union-free work environment through proactive employee relations practices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while managing organizational risk.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development) to deliver integrated HR solutions.
  • Lead or contribute to enterprise-wide HR initiatives, including HR digital transformation, HR technology implementation, and process optimization.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and openness to future relocation opportunities aligned with organizational needs and career growth.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including strategic HR Business Partner or Organizational Development roles.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday or comparable HRIS platforms.
  • Prior experience supporting manufacturing or operations environments.
  • Knowledge of union avoidance strategies and strong employee relations expertise.
  • Familiarity with design thinking or modern HR methodologies is a plus.
  • Bilingual proficiency preferred.
  • Willingness to relocate for future career advancement opportunities.
