Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending job offers
- Facilitate new employee onboarding, including orientation sessions and the preparation of onboarding materials
- Assist with employee inquiries, performance review process, and training initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR database
- Address employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, and compensation
- Support annual benefits enrollment and coordinate with external vendors
- Provide back up support to payroll department
- 1-2+ years of experience in human resources
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software/HRIS
