Salary: Target base is $180K but can go up to $220K (DOE)
JOB SUMMARY- The Sr. Dir/Director, People Business Partner is responsible for coaching and advising our clients’ leaders to develop and engage our people and ensuring a high level of talent density. In this role, you will be an individual contributor and trusted partner, delivering people solutions and insights that enhance our organizational effectiveness.
- We are looking for somebody who has 15+ years of experience, in a strategic, individual contributor Business Partner role at private, start-up, SaaS companies helping them grow to 1000+.
- There is no staff to oversee.
- This is an individual contributor role and a true partner role to the CPO and Head of Talent.
- As the Sr. Dir/Director, People Business Partner you will be involved in the day-to‑day operations, including L&D.
- 15+ years’ experience as a strategic Business Partner and most recently held senior roles partnering with the CPO and Head of TA
- Experience as an individual contributor.
- Involved in day-to‑day operations
- Experience with L&D
- SaaS background.
- 3-5 days a week onsite
- 5+ years of start-up transformation experience growing a private company to 1000+
- Certifications not mandatory but preferred
- Drive people strategy, coach, and develop our leaders to solve business and talent challenges. Establishes credibility and reliability as an efficient driver of issue resolution — through facilitation, coaching others on how to solve their challenges, and through a partnership with other key members of the People Team.
- Leads talent and leadership development initiatives including performance, competencies, and capability building programs. Partners with leaders to create functional development paths and scalable talent frameworks.
- Leverages people analytics to influence talent strategy, optimize workforce planning, and drive business outcomes.
- Acts as culture ambassador, championing our employee experience to drive a high‑performing, collaborative and inclusive environment where our people can do their best work.
- Guides leaders through work challenges and organizational changes. Helps others explain connections between changes in the business, the organization, and individual roles. Support teams on change strategies, communications and post‑implementation assessment.
- Identifies and supports the development of key talent to drive high performance and unlock full potential in our team members.
- Conducts exit interviews to identify opportunities for leader coaching, and to identify insights to improve our employee experience.
- Leads teams through engagement reviews, success plans, manager training and other employee lifecycle initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.

- 15+ years of progressive HR business partner experience a with 5+ years in high‑growth, fast evolving, private company.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in employee relations practices, including investigations and performance management.
