We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Dev Ops to lead our Dev Ops strategy, drive automation, and optimize software delivery pipelines. As the Director of Dev Ops, you will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, site reliability, security, and performance monitoring. You will collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to implement best practices and ensure a seamless, scalable, and resilient Dev Ops culture.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy & Leadership:
Define and execute the company's Dev Ops roadmap
, ensuring alignment with business and engineering goals. Lead and mentor a team of Dev Ops engineers, SREs, and automation specialists
. Drive a culture of automation, continuous improvement, and collaboration across development and operations teams. - Infrastructure & Cloud Management:
Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP). Oversee containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm). Establish infrastructure-as-code (IaC) best practices using tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Pulumi. - CI/CD & Automation:
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable software releases (Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Git Lab CI, ArgoCD). Drive automation for deployment, monitoring, and self-healing systems
. Implement observability and logging solutions (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog). - Security & Compliance:
Ensure Dev Sec Ops principles are integrated into the software development lifecycle. Implement security best practices
, including IAM policies, vulnerability scanning, and secrets management (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager). Maintain compliance with industry standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR etc.). - Performance & Reliability:
Define SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for system reliability and uptime. Oversee incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
. Optimize performance tuning and capacity planning for cloud infrastructure. - At Port Pro, protecting our customers’ data and maintaining compliance are core to everything we do. Every team member plays a role in safeguarding information. You’ll be expected to follow our information security policies and practices and to keep security top of mind in all aspects of your work.
- 10+ years of experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or Cloud Engineering
, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role
. - Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes
. - Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Cloud Formation), and automation
. - Strong knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring tools
. - Experience with microservices, containers, and distributed systems
. - Hands-on experience with Git Ops, Dev Sec Ops , and SRE principles
. - Strong leadership, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Hands‑on experience
- Experience in high‑availability, large‑scale environments
. - Certifications (AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, Kubernetes Administrator, etc.).
- Experience in machine learning infrastructure is a plus.
