Senior Network Engineer

• Work in hands-on, field-based environments such as ports, shipping terminals, container yards, warehouses, or industrial/logistics facilities, supporting operational network infrastructure.
• Provide real-time network monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution in a mission-critical 24/7 operational environment, primarily supporting night shift operations.
• Support and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure in live production environments.
• Perform hands-on work with Cisco routers, switches, wireless access points, fiber, and structured cabling to ensure network uptime and stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to routing, switching, VLANs, trunking, and spanning tree protocols with minimal escalation.
• Apply strong knowledge of networking protocols such as OSPF, BGP, STP, and 802.11 wireless standards to diagnose and resolve network performance issues.
• Monitor network alerts, perform root cause analysis, and restore services quickly to minimize operational disruption.
• Support wireless network performance including Wi-Fi troubleshooting, roaming optimization, and interference resolution.
• Maintain proper documentation of incidents, fixes, and provide clear communication and shift handover notes to day operations teams.
• Follow site safety, operational, and compliance procedures while working in active production and transportation environments.
