SEO Content Specialist

We’re looking for an SEO Content Specialist to support and execute high-performing content initiatives for our SEO clients. This role goes beyond basic writing. You’ll use AI tools to accelerate production while applying strong editorial judgment, SEO knowledge, and attention to detail to help drive rankings, traffic, and conversions.

You’ll be responsible for producing, optimizing, and improving SEO content across multiple client accounts, with a strong focus on search intent, quality, and measurable results.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that strong SEO content requires thoughtful execution, consistency, and continuous improvement.

• Execute SEO content plans for assigned client accounts
• Conduct keyword research to support content initiatives
• Create and optimize blog posts, service pages, landing pages, and location pages
• Ensure content aligns with overall SEO and growth objectives

• Use AI tools to generate outlines, drafts, and content variations efficiently
• Edit, rewrite, and refine AI-generated content to meet brand, quality, and SEO standards
• Ensure content demonstrates strong search intent alignment, clarity, and authority
• Maintain consistency in tone, accuracy, and structure across client accounts

• Optimize on-page elements including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, and schema where applicable
• Refresh and improve existing content to drive incremental performance gains
• Support local and national SEO initiatives through content updates
• Ensure content aligns with Google Business Profile and local SEO strategies where relevant

• Track rankings, traffic, and engagement metrics tied to content
• Identify opportunities to improve underperforming pages
• Apply data insights to refine and enhance content execution
• Assist with internal reporting on content performance

• Collaborate with SEO strategists, account managers, and client stakeholders
• Review and QA content before publication
• Follow established workflows and help improve content processes
• Stay current on SEO, AI, and content best practices

• 3+ years of experience in SEO-focused content roles, agency experience preferred
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, keyword research, and search intent
• Proven ability to write, edit, and optimize content for rankings and performance
• Experience using AI tools as part of a content workflow
• Excellent writing, editing, and quality-control skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Experience working with small business or multi-location SEO clients
• Familiarity with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, or similar
• Understanding of on-page SEO and content optimization frameworks
• Experience working in Word Press, Shopify, or similar CMS platforms
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, performance-driven agency environment
