The Data Solutions Senior Manager plays a leading role in driving best practices supporting Comcast Global Audit (CGA). The role identifies, monitors, and mitigates risk through the integration of advanced data analytics, engineering, automation, and business analysis. This position contributes to audit engagements by shaping audit scope, planning with audit partners, and generating innovative insights and scalable data solutions while overseeing team execution.

It also audits Artificial Intelligence (AI) deployments as part of our audit engagements.

• Collaborate with audit partners to strategically plan engagements by analyzing relevant business systems, processes, data sources, policies, and risk/controls.
• Develop and maintain standard and non-standard data products and reporting deliverables.
• Design and implement scalable data solutions to support audit objectives.
• Maintain and execute a roadmap of enhancement and automation initiatives to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage team members to ensure consistency across data deliverables.
• Proactively identify improvement areas that lead to increased standardization and automation, and align with audit senior leaders on ways to improve audit testing.

• Demonstrate solid project management skills for data or automation projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and status reporting.
• Lead engagement objective discussions with CGA leaders and provide strategic recommendations on data analytics approaches.
• Extract, manipulate, transform, model, visualize, and analyze data to support the audit lifecycle.
• Identify audit scope areas for automation or repeated data analytics and lead project efforts to implement them.
• Ensure all data is secure and follows company policies regarding data classification.
• Analyze data to assess compliance with policies, procedures, US GAAP, and legal/governmental requirements.
• Apply analytical models (e.g., regression, simulation, statistical) to identify outliers, trends, and projections.
• Use data tools and programming techniques (SQL, dbt, Snowflake, Tableau, AWS, MS SQL Server, Oracle BI, Teradata, Databricks, Alteryx, Spark, Python, R) for ETL and analysis.
• Develop process flows, prototypes, and requirements documentation to accelerate stakeholder understanding.
• Create, document, and execute support process steps and test procedures to ensure accurate and sustainable deliverables.
• Lead discussions on the data solution roadmap for prioritizing improvements across the lifecycle.
• Prepare clear, organized analysis work papers documenting findings and recommendations.
• Create graphical reports and executive presentations to summarize analysis and findings.
• Manage Data or Automation team members and keep the team on track.
• Provide management oversight, training, review, and guidance to staff.
• Account for and review team work papers, presentations, and documentation for clarity and completeness.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
• Assist with managing, scheduling, monitoring, and maintaining automated processes in production.
• Support department objectives and perform additional duties as assigned.

• Review inventories of AI applications across Comcast Corporate, Cable, Sky, and NBCU, mapping them to upcoming audit engagements and assessing risks.
• Work with CGA peers to maintain, customize, and execute a library of prompts and scripts for generative AI testing.
• Update and document standard audit test procedures for new or changing AI technologies and related risks.
• Perform code reviews of machine learning applications.
• Ensure all relevant controls are tested and significant risks are addressed, evaluating internal control design and risk identification.
