Developer, Systems Engineer, IT​/Tech

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a contract with a client in Mt. Laurel, NJ
. The ideal candidate must have deep SLO expertise while engineering resiliency patterns and partnering with governance teams on compliance and risk.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $64/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Ensure end‑to‑end operational readiness for all products and services, including validating release quality and enforcing production‑readiness standards.
• Define, manage, and enforce Service Level Objectives (SLOs/SLIs) to maintain system availability and reliability across critical platforms.
• Implement and maintain observability frameworks (metrics, logs, traces, alerting) to monitor system health and proactively detect degradation.
• Lead post‑incident reviews, engineer durable fixes, and ensure lessons learned are applied to prevent future failures.
• Collaborate with governance, risk, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational risk controls.
• Continuously identify and implement reliability improvements, emerging technologies, and scalable infrastructure practices to strengthen platform resilience.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6–8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Engineering, or large‑scale operational support.
• Strong proven experience in defining/enforcing SLOs and ensuring operational readiness for complex, highly available production systems.
• Hands‑on expertise in observability implementation (metrics, logs, traces) and leading post‑incident reviews to drive long‑term reliability improvements.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $64.00 per hour
