Role DescriptionCymulate Sales Engineers will Lead technical discovery conversations with SOC leaders, security architects, and CISOs to uncover measurable security gaps and exposure. Design and execute proof of value engagements that validate real world attack techniques across EDR, SIEM, email, endpoint, cloud, and identity controls. Define success criteria early in the sales cycle and align technical outcomes to business impact. Translate technical findings into executive level risk and financial language.
Differentiate Cymulate from traditional pentesting, red teaming, and point in time security assessments. Partner closely with Account Executives to support enterprise sales cycles using structured qualification methodologies such as MEDDIC. Support RFP responses, technical deep dives, architecture discussions, and security reviews. Identify expansion opportunities across modules, use cases, and business units. Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing to provide feedback from the field.
- 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, incident response, red teaming, security engineering, or technical sales.
- Strong knowledge of EDR, XDR, SIEM, detection engineering, and threat response workflows.
- Working knowledge of MITRE ATT and common attack techniques across endpoint, email, and cloud environments.
- Experience leading technical evaluations or proof of value engagements in mid market or enterprise accounts.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value for executive stakeholders.
- Strong presentation, communication, and whiteboarding skills.
- Experience with exposure validation or breach and attack simulation platforms.
- Experience integrating security tools via API or working with security architectures in complex enterprise environments.
- Background in SOC, detection engineering, or incident response.
