Deployment Engineer; Systems

We’re working with a well-funded, early-stage engineering team building software + hardware systems that operate in high-stakes, real-world environments

This is not a typical software role.

You’ll be responsible for taking complex systems from internal build → real-world deployment
, working directly with customers, and ensuring everything runs reliably under real operating conditions.

If you enjoy being close to the problem, working on-site, and owning outcomes end-to-end, this is for you.

• Own end-to-end deployments of software + hardware systems in live environments
• Work directly with customers to understand operations and tailor solutions
• Configure and adapt systems using SQL / scripting to match real-world needs
• Act as the technical lead on-site
  , troubleshooting and ensuring successful launches
• Feed insights back into engineering to improve product and reliability
• Operate in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where no two deployments are the same

• 5+ years experience deploying systems in production / customer-facing environments
• Strong ownership, you’ve taken something from build → deployment → success
• Comfortable working on-site in operational / physical environments (not just office-based)
• Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and work directly with end users
• Strong in Python and/or SQL (Go is a bonus)
• Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience in defense, aerospace, robotics, IoT, or industrial systems
• Background in forward deployed / field engineering / solutions engineering roles
• Worked on systems involving hardware + software integration
• Experience in environments where uptime and reliability matter

• High ownership, high impact, you are the person responsible for making it work in the real world
