Subject Matter Expert Task Lead

The Subject Matter Expert Task Lead supports all local concerns for their home site, along with supporting all the field sites in their region of responsibility for all U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Office of Information Technology (OIT) environments.

• Provide oversight, technical guidance, monitor activities, and coordinate work between USCIS field teams.
• Ensure installed applications and hardware, and expertise support for local customers for issues, knowledge, and training of how to utilize all CIS UC deployed systems and applications supported across the enterprise.
• Provide implementation support for all Unified Communications technologies in their region of responsibility.
• Regional subject matter expert for all UC services, to include all installed applications and hardware, and will be the expert for local customers to come to for issues, knowledge, and training of how to utilize all CIS UC deployed systems and applications supported across the enterprise.
• Provide system administration, maintenance and operational support and be a regional liaison to the designated geographical region for all deployed unified communications technologies.
• Provide UC system operational, troubleshooting, survey, architecture, installation, and post-installation support, to include UC related escort and installation services assistance as requested.
• Become the liaison of their regional sites and provide assessments of their UC needs to HQ.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar Information Technology Field.
• Equivalent skills of Cisco CCNP Collaboration or higher certification, experience in all UC systems specified above, experience in VoIP and have at least 5 years working experience in a Unified Communications environment.
• Public Trust Clearance.
