Venue Technology Supervisor

Legends Global offers end-to-end solutions for venue development and event management. We are seeking a customer‑service focused, independent, and flexible professional to support our onsite technology operations.

• Provide event day setup and support of multiple point‑of‑sale systems
• Provide excellent desktop support services to internal staff
• Work with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and implement changes
• Communicate productively and professionally across all managerial levels
• Work during most events held at the facility, including late nights and weekends
• Provide level 1 and level 2 support of all point‑of‑sale system problems and, when necessary, elevate with inside and outside service providers
• Initiate and implement improvements to areas of responsibility
• Serve as building‑wide point of contact on IT‑related matters
• Conduct stadium walk‑throughs to ensure all systems are operational prior to and during events
• Replace defective hardware before, during, and after events
• Diagnose software, firmware, and hardware errors and execute solutions
• Work with external vendors on support of proprietary systems
• Track RMAs of all equipment inbound and outbound for repairs
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adhere to all standards and practices
• Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Manager and Controller

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field (experience may substitute for education)
• 1‑3+ years of relevant work experience
• Basic PC hardware knowledge
• Good understanding of networking, including TCP/IP and VLANs
• Administration experience with Windows Server 2003, 2008, and 2008R2 operating systems
• Experience with wireless LAN concepts
• Experience with Windows XP, Windows 7, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with virtual environments for both servers and desktops
• Eagerness to work in a rapidly changing, diverse environment and willingness to accommodate a sports and entertainment venue schedule
• Highly effective oral presentation and written communication skills
• Ability to report to the stadium no less than four hours prior to each game/event, as directed
• Flexible scheduling and reliable transportation required (may work events at other Legends sites in the LA/OC area)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft and Mac applications, including operating systems, office systems, and server networking terminologies
• Knowledge of wireless terminologies and security technologies
• Knowledge of CAT5/6 crimping in various cable configurations (making LAN cables)
• Experience with Quest, Counterpoint, or SQL systems
• Exposure to event support or retail sales experience preferred but not required
• Relevant industry certifications
• Ability to move fast and act on assigned duties
• Physical ability to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, and pull
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10–30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds
• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures, and complete company‑wide safety training and any additional job‑specific safety training

• Part‑time, Seasonal – $28 per hour
