Job SummaryThe Technical Product Manager (TPM) III serves as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and Information Technology (IT) teams across multiple business verticals. The TPM III owns primary domains, supports other TPMs with cross‑domain initiatives, and ensures IT solutions deliver measurable business outcomes and enterprise value. The role manages the delivery of digital and operational solutions aligned with the organization’s enterprise strategy, drives tangible improvements, and guides the development of product roadmap artifacts across multiple domains.
The TPM III creates clear problem statements, defines desired outcomes, and informs actionable product strategy. In partnership with business owners, the TPM prioritizes product backlogs and drives execution through Agile SDLC processes.
The TPM III leads the delivery of enterprise technology solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, governance standards, and compliance with healthcare payer and regulatory requirements. The role collaborates closely with stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable solutions and evaluate technical trade‑offs to balance scope, complexity, and business value.
Supporting Health Plan Operations in domains such as Health Services, Provider Operations, Customer Services, Finance, and Compliance, the TPM drives advanced healthcare systems knowledge, influences strategic decisions, ensures accountability for outcomes, and leverages data to validate product hypotheses and measure results. The TPM promotes disciplined product management practices and mentors technical teams to ensure solutions deliver business intent and enterprise value.
DutiesLead stakeholders in defining product vision, solution intent, scope, value hypothesis, and roadmap aligned with enterprise strategy and measurable outcomes, ensuring enterprise‑wide impact across multiple business verticals.
Translate complex business needs into clear problem statements and outcomes that inform technically ready requirements for IT and development teams, ensuring requirements are accurate, complete, timely, and aligned with success metrics.
Partner with internal teams to ensure product intent aligns with enterprise reference architecture and governance standards. Provide guidance and oversight to ensure requirements are technically ready, evaluate integration dependencies, and assess trade‐offs across systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize the product backlog for the domain, support other TPMs with cross‑domain backlog coordination, and participate in sprint planning and review sessions.
Manage delivery of quality member‑focused digital solutions, ensuring business units understand technology solutions, overall delivery, and compliance with governance processes and architecture standards. Oversee testing, validation, and deployment to align with business intent, success metrics, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor product performance, identify improvement opportunities, and drive continuous enhancement to realize measurable value and cross‑vertical alignment using data and analytics.
Ensure alignment with CMS, DHCS, HIPAA, and other payer regulatory requirements.
