Responsible for supporting network operations, asset management, and maintenance of telecom infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Manage inventory, tools, and equipment; coordinate shipping/receiving of materials
- Install, provision, test, and maintain telecom/network systems (Fiber, Ethernet, SONET, IP)
- Troubleshoot network issues and replace defective equipment to restore services
- Perform preventive maintenance on network and critical infrastructure (HVAC, power systems)
- Support installation and testing of next-gen technologies (Edge Compute, Fiber Optics, Wavelength)
- Maintain accurate logs, trouble tickets, and inventory records
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify potential issues
- Basic knowledge of telecom/network technologies (Fiber, Ethernet, IP, SONET)
- Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of network equipment
- Familiarity with AC/DC power systems and critical infrastructure is a plus
- Ability to work with tools, test equipment, and tracking systems
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
