Overview

Insight Global is looking for Desktop Support to join one of our largest financial service clients sitting in Los Angeles, CA. They will be joining the Enterprise Technology Operations Group specially on the Shared Support team. You will be working with an onsite five days a week with a team of two other technicians to provide deskside support to those in office.

The ideal candidate will be career oriented with extensive experience in a hands-on IT support role, excellent communication skills, ability to interact/support with C-level executives and a willingness to learn new technologies. Most of the work revolves around break/fix and event planning/preparation but could vary with any ad-hoc requests from the end users. This person should have experience supporting a wide variety of end user technologies (desktops, printers, laptops, connectivity, AV, conference rooms, etc.)

and be looking to grow within an organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide deskside support onsite five days a week as part of a team of two other technicians.
  • Join the Enterprise Technology Operations Group on the Shared Support team.
  • Perform hands-on IT support including break/fix, event planning/preparation, and handling ad-hoc end-user requests.
  • Support a wide variety of end-user technologies (desktops, printers, laptops, connectivity, AV, conference rooms, etc.).
  • Interact with end users and, as needed, support C-level executives.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in a Desktop Support role within an enterprise organization.
  • Experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft Suite.
  • Extensive experience with hardware and software related support issues.
  • Experience using Service Now ticketing system.
  • Experience supporting Macs.
  • Experience supporting/troubleshooting mobile devices.
