About the RoleDue to space constraints, responsibilities are listed below.
What You’ll Do- Manage day‑to‑day ecommerce website operations and related digital systems.
- Oversee website updates, checkout functionality, payment settings, tracking, apps, integrations, and platform configurations.
- Coordinate with developers, agencies, designers, and internal teams to implement enhancements and resolve issues.
- Monitor website performance, mobile responsiveness, customer‑facing bugs, tracking issues, and site reliability.
- Ensure websites are user‑friendly, mobile‑optimized, visually consistent, and aligned with brand standards.
- Understand the impact of themes, apps, integrations, tracking, and platform changes on performance and customer experience.
- Lead ecommerce and website projects from planning through launch.
- Create project briefs, requirements, timelines, QA plans, testing procedures, launch plans, and post‑launch reviews.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams and external partners.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Manage priorities, risks, dependencies, budgets, approvals, and deliverables.
- Conduct testing before and after launches to ensure successful implementation.
- Apply UX/UI best practices to improve the online shopping experience.
- Identify and resolve friction points across navigation, product pages, forms, cart, checkout, mobile experience, page speed, and trust signals.
- Use analytics and behavior tools (GA4, Shopify Analytics, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, etc.) to identify improvement opportunities.
- Support A/B testing, landing page optimization, checkout improvements, and mobile enhancements.
- Recommend data‑driven improvements that enhance usability, conversion, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure all website updates align with brand guidelines, including colors, typography, imagery, layout, tone, and overall presentation.
- Review pages, banners, forms, popups, and assets before launch.
- Coordinate with creative and marketing teams to ensure accurate implementation.
- Identify visual inconsistencies and usability issues that may impact trust or conversions.
- Serve as the business‑side owner of ecommerce technology, website improvements, and integrations.
- Maintain working knowledge of ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Shopify Plus, Big Commerce, Magento, Woo Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.).
- Communicate effectively with developers and vendors, evaluate technical recommendations, and ensure solutions support business objectives.
- Explore practical uses of AI and LLM tools to improve productivity, documentation, research, QA, planning, reporting, troubleshooting, and process development.
- Identify opportunities to reduce repetitive work and improve communication and efficiency.
- Understand AI limitations and apply sound judgment when using AI‑generated outputs.
