About the Team
Tik Tok LIVE enables Creators to create compelling live content and enable real-time interactions with users. We provide users with a unique content experience while enabling Creators to provide more direct users interaction and deeper engagement with their fans. The Tik Tok USDS LIVE team consists of passionate Product & Operation Professionals, Data Analysts, and Strategists who safeguard Tik Tok's US user data and join forces with cross-functional teams to derive actionable insights from US user data and create a vibrant, fun, and safe space for users.

In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.

Responsibilities
- Apply expertise in data analysis and visualization to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users interact with our Tik Tok LIVE products.
- Deliver data support for both short term and long term business plans from strategic scope and execution aspects with in-depths analysis.
- Work closely with key cross functional teams such as product managers, operation teams, data and engineering teams to solve business problems.
- Build/maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor team performance.
- Manage team resources, coach and develop team members, constantly increase both technical and business efficiencies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a background in Math, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or other quantitative fields
- 5+ years experience of Data Science and/or Data Analytics.
- 2+ years experience leading teams of Data Analysts, Data Scientists, etc.
- Expert experience pulling large and complex data using SQL and writing data pipelines along with Python

- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
- Experience performing complex Data Analysis on monetization/revenue-driving products

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree with a background in Math, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or other quantitative fields
- Expertise knowledge and usage of Python
- Expert Analytical skills along with Business-Savvy mindset
