Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Support / Help Desk Technician / IT Technical Assistant to provide technical support and assist with day-to-day IT operations in a centralized IT environment. The ideal candidate will support end users with hardware, software, printer, and basic network-related issues while ensuring timely documentation, troubleshooting, and resolution of service requests.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-level technical support to internal users for IT-related issues.
Identify, track, document, research, and resolve help desk tickets and problem calls.
Escalate high-priority or complex issues according to established procedures.
Assist IT staff with routine system testing, production support, and validation activities.
Review and validate user manuals, procedures, and instructional materials.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop computers, monitors, printers, and other IT hardware.
Support both office-grade printers and high-speed commercial printers as needed.
Assist with basic cabling and peripheral device setup.
Maintain accurate records of support activities and resolutions.
Lift and move office supplies and IT equipment up to 20 pounds when required.
Skills & Qualifications
0–3 years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Assistance.
Knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop support.
Experience troubleshooting PCs, printers, peripherals, and basic connectivity issues.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes.
Understanding of hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and follow established support procedures.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications.
Experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
