Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Department of Medicine's Clinical Studies and Database Core is seeking a Student Worker to support high-volume data management activities essential to clinical research operations. The incumbent will assist with data cleaning, validation, and database maintenance to ensure accurate, high-quality datasets that support timely project completion. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in clinical research data management and exposure to programming concepts within a collaborative research environment.

Hourly range: $19.20-$41.00

Required:

* Registered as a UCLA student

* Ability to use a personal computer and basic computer applications.  

* Ability to pay close attention to detail and a habit of double-checking work.

* Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Ability to work independently, as well as in a team-oriented environment.

* Strong skills in Windows, MS Office Suite, and Excel

* Prior experience with code in at least one object-oriented programming language such as VBA, Python, PHP,or Java script.
