Job DescriptionFOX Entertainment is hiring a Senior Manager, Production Technology Programs to shape and advance production‑facing technology strategy across Entertainment. The role has a life‑cycle focus from greenlight through dailies, ingest, and into post‑production environments and partners with Production, Studio Operations, Marketing, and Technology leaders to co‑develop scalable production technology frameworks that support content creation at scale.
Responsibilities- Studio‑Wide Production Technology Frameworks – partner with studio stakeholders to co‑develop and implement scalable production technology standards with measurable success criteria; reduce variability across productions by establishing repeatable workflow models; serve as the senior program escalation point for production technology alignment and readiness; balance creative flexibility with operational discipline to enable production at scale.
- Production Lifecycle Enablement – provide end‑to‑end program leadership from greenlight through post‑ingest handoff; align physical builds & designs (e.g., facilities, owned production gear) with defined technical, workflow, and archive requirements; drive proactive readiness, resolving gaps before production launch rather than reacting after issues surface.
- Production to Post & Archive Alignment – standardize ingest, metadata, naming, and archive expectations & policy; ensure clean transitions into internal marketing, animation, and external post partners; define and reinforce clear handoff boundaries with centralized platform teams.
- Vendor & External Ecosystem Strategy – align production vendors, post partners, and integrators to consistent technical frameworks; evaluate external best practices and incorporate them into studio standards; prevent siloed or one‑off vendor implementations that create operational risk; influence FOX’s production technology posture within the broader production technology market.
- Innovation & Emerging Technology Enablement – partner with internal innovation teams to operationalize new tools within production & partner environments; translate emerging technologies into scalable, production‑ready deployment models; create structured implementation pathways for both AI‑driven and traditional solutions.
- Governance & Executive Visibility – own the production technology program roadmaps, risk posture, and executive‑level reporting; surface tradeoffs and operational impacts early; translate production complexity into clear, strategic decision points.
- 7+ years leading complex, cross‑functional technology programs.
- Experience supporting physical production and/or post‑production workflows, including familiarity with dailies, media ingest, and archive workflows.
- Experience aligning external vendors and technical partners.
- Strong understanding of the production lifecycle from planning through ingest.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strategic operator with production credibility.
- Structured program leadership at scale.
- Executive‑ready communicator.
- Comfortable in matrixed, fast‑moving environments.
- Builder of standards, not one‑off solutions.
- Studio, network, or large‑scale content production experience.
- Familiarity with IP‑based production infrastructure.
- Experience implementing emerging or AI‑augmented production technologies.
- Background in production operations, media technology, or post systems.
Base salary range: $128,000 – $140,000 annually. The role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and various benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union‑represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
