Desktop Support Technician

We're seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician (Level
2) to join a dynamic IT support team in Burbank, CA. This is a full-time onsite role supporting multiple buildings within walking distance of each other. You'll be providing technical support across Windows and macOS environments and playing a key role in end-user satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and experience supporting enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver day-to-day technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems.
  • Install, configure, and update applications and operating systems.
  • Provide Level 2/3 support and guidance to junior technicians and end-users.
  • Manage and resolve tickets using tools like Service Now.
  • Support various onsite services including equipment deployments, pick-ups, and user moves.
  • Assist with project-based assignments requiring elevated technical expertise.
  • Coordinate with other technical teams for escalations and specialized support.
  • Drive to nearby office locations as needed (mileage reimbursed).

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on desktop support experience in a mid-to-large enterprise.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and common enterprise tools.
  • Experience with SCCM for patch management and software deployment.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now).
  • Working knowledge of macOS and JAMF.
  • Strong understanding of networking basics (IP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi).
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and Bitlocker.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong time management and customer service skills.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in IT or related field (preferred).
