Business Intelligence Manager – USC Credit Union

USC Credit Union seeks an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to enhance data analytics and reporting, providing leadership with key information for strategic decisions.

• Build and maintain the BI infrastructure, including the cloud data warehouse (Snowflake), data models, visual style guides, and pipelines that transform data from source systems into analytics‑ready tables.
• Design and operate modern data pipelines, ingesting data from operational systems and preparing it for reporting and analysis.
• Develop data collection methods (surveys, tests, etc.) and tools to support analyses.
• Generate summary and detailed dashboards for executive leadership, department managers, supervisors, and analysts, presenting operational data in clear, actionable formats.
• Provide business data trend information and recommendations for action to support strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with management on best practices, statistical measures, benchmarking, and data governance standards for internal data and vendor relationships.
• Conduct data quality assessments and oversee accurate reporting and decision‑making.
• Conduct analysis, derive insights, and present action‑driven recommendations to executive leaders and managers.
• Train non‑technical stakeholders on reporting tools and concepts.
• Lead staff or student workers, as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in analytics with supervisory responsibilities.
• Direct knowledge and experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and reporting.
• Strong SQL skills and hands‑on experience with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake required).
• Experience building and visualizing reports in Power BI or comparable tools.
• Project management experience for complex projects.
• Demonstrated organizational, critical‑thinking, interpersonal, planning, problem‑solving, and business analytical skills.
• Ability to work at a high functional and technical level.

• Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.
• Experience with Airbyte or similar data integration/ingestion platform.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and analytics engineering practices.

Annual base salary range: $120,000 – $150,000.
