This role supports a high-impact analytics and insights team within the gaming and digital entertainment space, focused on understanding player behavior, engagement, and product performance.
The ideal candidate will apply advanced statistical analysis, experimentation, and predictive modeling to generate insights that inform business and product strategy.
Position Overview for the Data Scientist III:
* Lead advanced statistical analysis and experimentation to better understand player behavior, engagement, and monetization patterns.
* Build predictive models and analytical frameworks using large-scale data from game telemetry and external sources.
* Partner cross-functionally with product, design, engineering, and analytics teams to solve complex business problems.
* Translate ambiguous questions into structured analytical approaches and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
* Help shape scalable data science practices, tools, and methodologies that support long-term decision-making.
Requirements for the Data Scientist III:
* Ph.D. or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Strong expertise in Python and SQL with experience working in large-scale or distributed data environments.
* Proven experience developing and implementing machine learning models in production settings.
* Deep knowledge of experimentation, causal inference, and advanced analytical methods beyond standard A/B testing.
* Ability to independently lead complex projects, influence strategy, and clearly communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
