Technical Skills

• Strong foundation in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Git Lab, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) — able to review configurations, unblock teams, and make sound technical trade-offs.
• Experience building, operating, and supporting production systems and automated environment infrastructures, ideally in regulated or financial environments.
• Deep expertise in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Power Shell).
• Understanding of observability, data security, compliance requirements, and security/reliability best practices for cloud and containerized environments.
• Actively adopts AI-enhanced development pipelines, tools, and modern monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) into engineering workflows.

• Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining Dev Ops and infrastructure engineering talent.
• Experience managing a team of 4-10 engineers across one or two work streams focusing on platform, release, and infrastructure automation.
• Skilled at setting clear expectations, giving direct feedback, and conducting performance reviews.
• Builds psychological safety while maintaining high standards for pipeline delivery, system reliability, and code quality.
• Runs effective 1:1s, career development conversations, and team retrospectives.

• Operates as a highly hands‑on player coach for a lean team: divides time equally between people management and individual engineering contributions, actively rolling up their sleeves to build pipelines, write automation, and ship product rather than simply delegating work.
• Owns delivery for their team — manages infrastructure sprints and commitments, escalates blockers, and communicates status to stakeholders.
• Understands the intersection of development and operations — translates business requirements into actionable technical work and collaborative workflows.
• Champions AI‑first engineering and Dev Ops practices as a force multiplier for team productivity.
