Data Science Expert – AI Content Specialist
What if your expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data engineering could directly shape how the world's most advanced AI systems think and reason? We're looking for Data Science Experts to stress-test, audit, and improve cutting‑edge AI models — working remotely on your own schedule alongside leading AI research labs.
This is a high‑impact contract role for data scientists who love intellectual rigor and want their knowledge to leave a lasting mark on AI development.
AboutThe Role

- Design Advanced Challenges — Craft complex, domain‑specific data science problems spanning hyperparameter optimization, Bayesian inference, cross‑validation strategies, dimensionality reduction, and more.
- Author Ground‑Truth Solutions — Develop rigorous, step‑by‑step technical solutions including Python/R scripts, SQL queries, and mathematical derivations that serve as authoritative reference answers.
- Audit AI‑Generated Code — Evaluate model outputs using libraries such as Scikit‑Learn, PyTorch, and Tensor Flow, assessing correctness, efficiency, and best practices.
- Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical failures such as data leakage, overfitting, or improper handling of imbalanced datasets, and deliver structured feedback to improve model behavior.
- Work Independently — Manage your own workload asynchronously, contributing meaningfully without rigid schedules.
- Holds or is pursuing a Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong foundational knowledge across supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, big data technologies (Spark or Hadoop), or NLP.
- Able to communicate complex algorithmic and statistical concepts clearly and precisely in writing.
- Detail‑oriented — you catch errors in code syntax, mathematical notation, and statistical reasoning.
- No prior AI or annotation experience required.
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or evaluation systems.
- Familiarity with production‑level data science workflows such as MLOps or CI/CD pipelines for models.
- Background in academic or applied research with a track record of rigorous technical writing.
- Work directly with industry‑leading large language models and cutting‑edge AI research.
- Fully remote and flexible — contribute on a schedule that works for you.
- Freelance autonomy with meaningful, intellectually stimulating work.
- High‑agency contractor environment with international reach.
- Potential for ongoing contract renewals as new projects launch.
