• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
• Experience in either system design or reading code (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
• 5 years of work experience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, solutions consultant, etc.) or equivalent technical experience.
• 2 years of experience with XR developer ecosystem.

• 2 years of experience in XR development based on OpenXR, Unity, Unreal or custom engines.
• Scripting and tooling experience in Android development environments such as Renderdoc, Perfetto, Frame Pacing API, Surface Flinger, GFXReconstruct, and Android GPU Inspector.
• Rendering and GPU pipeline knowledge such as OpenGL ES, Vulkan, Metal, or Direct

• Comfortable with advocating XR initiatives with both internal teams and external partners.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross‑functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting‑edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

The Android XR Technical Solutions Consultant empowers XR developers to create the best XR experience with OpenXR and Android libraries, tools, and Play services. In this role, you will establish and maintain technical relationships with XR developers who have tactical meaning to Google’s business. You provide the engineering consultation and guidance to game partner companies in using Google’s technologies and bring back their feedback to improve them.

You also communicate internally with Product Managers and Business Development stakeholders. Play, Android, are just some of the platforms you promote and support. Your work fosters a community of XR developers working with Google technologies and helps to drive strategy around developer engagement.
