Business Intelligence Analyst III​/IV

As a BIA III/IV, you will provide advanced analytics, database management, and business intelligence support to UCLA Health. In this highly visible role, you will develop and maintain data solutions, dashboards, and reporting systems that support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives across the organization.

Working closely with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders, you will leverage data to identify trends, measure performance, and deliver meaningful insights that support informed decision-making. You will also lead and support data-driven projects, utilizing Lean and PDCA methodologies to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and improve organizational performance.

• Design, develop, and maintain databases, data models, and reporting solutions that support business and regulatory requirements.
• Build and manage interactive dashboards, visualizations, and reports using Tableau and other business intelligence tools.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Partner with leaders and cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational performance improvement initiatives.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
• Lead data-driven projects and support continuous improvement efforts using Lean and PDCA methodologies.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Promote innovative and efficient use of technology to enhance workflows and business processes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience developing databases, reports, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions.
• Proficiency with Tableau, SQL, and data visualization best practices.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing projects and collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

BIA III: $86,400.00 – $ Annually

BIA IV: $95,400.00 - $ Annually

Placement into a BIA III or BIA IV is dependent on years of relevant experience and qualifications. Individuals meeting the criteria listed in the required section qualify for BIA III. Individuals with significant more experience and/or meeting all the preferred criteria may be placed in a BIA IV role.
