Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software development and cloud-based technology projects.

The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with a solid understanding of software architecture, application development, APIs, cloud platforms, Dev Ops, security, and quality assurance. This person will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, developers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, Dev Ops engineers, and external partners to deliver projects on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the complete project lifecycle, from requirements and planning through development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Translate business objectives into clear technical deliverables, milestones, sprint plans, and actionable work items.
  • Define project scope, timelines, dependencies, resource requirements, acceptance criteria, and delivery plans.
  • Manage multiple projects or work streams while maintaining visibility across priorities and deadlines.
  • Identify delivery risks, technical blockers, resource constraints, and dependencies at an early stage.
  • Develop mitigation and contingency plans for identified risks.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within the agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Manage scope changes through a structured change-control process.
Agile and Sprint Management
  • Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release-planning sessions.
  • Work with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize product backlogs.
  • Ensure user stories include clear requirements, acceptance criteria, estimates, dependencies, and technical considerations.
  • Track sprint capacity, velocity, burndown, carryover work, and delivery predictability.
  • Remove delivery blockers and coordinate resolution across teams.
  • Promote practical Agile practices without introducing unnecessary process overhead.
Technical Coordination
  • Work closely with solution architects and engineering teams to understand system architecture, integrations, infrastructure, and technical dependencies.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and ensure decisions, assumptions, and trade-offs are properly documented.
  • Coordinate frontend, backend, mobile, database, API, Dev Ops, cloud, security, and QA activities.
  • Understand REST APIs, databases, authentication, third-party integrations, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and production deployment processes.
  • Ensure non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, availability, logging, monitoring, and maintainability are considered.
  • Coordinate environment readiness across development, testing, UAT, staging, and production.
  • Ensure technical documentation, deployment instructions, architecture diagrams, and operational handover materials are completed.
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as the primary communication bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Conduct requirement workshops, project reviews, demonstrations, and steering meetings.
  • Provide clear and accurate updates on progress, risks, dependencies, decisions, timelines, and budget.
  • Convert complex technical topics into business-friendly language.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and elevate critical issues with appropriate context and recommended actions.
  • Maintain decision logs, risk registers, action trackers, and project status reports.
  • Cooperate with customers, vendors, implementation partners, and other external stakeholders if required.
Quality and Release Management
  • Work with QA teams to define testing strategy, test coverage, defect-management processes, and release acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure functional, integration, regression, performance, security, and user-acceptance testing is planned appropriately.
  • Track defects and ensure critical issues are resolved before production releases.
  • Coordinate release planning, deployment readiness, rollback planning, and go-live activities.
  • Facilitate go/no-go meetings and ensure required approvals are obtained.
