Hybrid 3 days onsite in Los Angeles, CA
Our client seeks a Sr. Scrum Master to support multiple Product Engineering teams spanning commerce, identity, and subscription experiences. The role will coordinate sprint ceremonies, cross-team releases, and post-release validation, while maintaining Jira hygiene and reporting delivery metrics. The position will facilitate feature-flag rollouts, remove blockers across environments and access, and help evolve agile practices as AI coding agents change delivery workflows.

Rate: $50.00 to $60.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities
- Run sprint ceremonies including planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement across multiple Product Engineering teams with aligned cadences during releases, migrations, and major sporting events.
- Coordinate cross-team production releases and post-release validation, track ownership, obtain confirmations, and unblock dependency chains in real time.
- Own Jira and epic hygiene with correctly structured epics and children and clean handoffs between engineering, QA, and product.
- Facilitate feature-flag rollout coordination and staged testing windows across assigned teams.
- Surface and help resolve blockers related to Git Hub access, environment availability, and QA/SDET coordination.
- Track and report sprint health, release risk, and delivery metrics to Product Engineering leadership.
- Help teams adapt agile practices as AI coding agents change the unit of work.
- Demonstrated success scrum-mastering multiple engineering teams with synchronized cadences.
- Experience coordinating complex cross-team releases and validations.
- Proficiency with Jira for epic and story structuring and cross-functional handoffs.
- Background facilitating feature flags and staged testing.
- Ability to remove blockers across tools, environments, and QA/SDET workflows.
- Experience reporting delivery metrics and risks to leadership.
- Nice to have: familiarity with subscription/commerce or identity/auth systems, and experience during high-traffic live events with inflexible release windows.
