Information Security Analyst

The ideal candidate for this position will be an experienced and highly skilled Information Security Analyst with a strong understanding of security protocols risk management and network infrastructure This individual will be responsible for protecting our companys sensitive data and systems from potential cyber threats The role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills who can identify vulnerabilities and implement effective security measures.

• Monitor networks and systems for potential security breaches
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Analyze security risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Implement and maintain security protocols including firewalls intrusion detection systems access controls etc
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies
• Train employees on information security best practices
• Respond to security incidents in a timely manner
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure proper implementation of security measures

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• At least 3 years of experience as an Information Security Analyst or similar role
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and security protocols TCPIP SSLTLS etc
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
• Experience with intrusion detectionprevention systems IDSIPS
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks ISO 27001 NIST
• Understanding of web application security OWASP Top 10
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or GIAC are preferred
