The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Digital Asset Manager to own and scale Hex Clad’s digital asset ecosystem. This is a dedicated, full-ownership role responsible for ensuring every creative asset is properly tagged, named, organized, and accessible to the teams that rely on them — globally. You’ll take over a library that has real infrastructure in place, clear urgency to build it out, and a PIM investment waiting for the right person to unlock it.

Key Responsibilities- DAM Ownership: Serve as the sole owner of Hex Clad’s Canto DAM library - managing metadata tagging, taxonomy, naming conventions, and asset organization at scale across product photography, campaign imagery, lifestyle content, and video.
- Metadata & Taxonomy Management: Apply, audit, and maintain field values across the full library; enforce controlled vocabulary, surface gaps proactively, and prevent taxonomy drift.
- Asset Ingestion & Lifecycle: Own the upload intake process from receipt through archive; ensure new assets enter the library correctly, promptly, and fully tagged.
- PIM Build-Out & Maintenance: Own the setup and ongoing maintenance of Hex Clad’s PIM system, populating and validating product data to support eCommerce, content, and international operations.
- Discoverability & Accessibility: Build and improve systems that surface the right content to the right teams - including international - reducing dependency on manual Slack-based asset sharing.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Creative, eCommerce, Marketing, and international teams to understand asset needs and build processes that serve them reliably; partner with in-house counsel on digital rights management to ensure usage rights are accurately documented, enforced, and reflected in the DAM at the asset level.
- AI-Assisted Workflows: Leverage AI tools for metadata suggestions, content description, and platform integrations - including MCP-based connections - to drive efficiency and accuracy at scale.
- 3-5 years of experience in digital asset management, creative operations, or a closely related field.
- Hands-on experience organizing and maintaining a DAM platform;
Canto preferred, Bynder or Brandfolder also considered. - Comfort working in metadata-heavy environments - applying, auditing, and maintaining field values at scale without drift.
- Solid understanding of image file types, aspect ratios, and asset lifecycle from production through archive.
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to follow established naming conventions and taxonomy without deviation.
- Ability to work independently, manage an ongoing upload and tagging queue, and surface blockers early without going quiet.
- Experience with CSV-based bulk metadata workflows.
- Familiarity with PIM systems and how they support product content and commerce operations.
- Exposure to e-commerce or consumer brand creative operations.
- Comfort using AI tools for metadata suggestions and content description, including connecting AI to external platforms via MCP integrations.
- Love of food and cooking is a plus, though not required.
