Digital Support Specialist

Scope and responsibilities

• Works in liaison with ADI’s external IT contractors
• Responsible for supporting ADI’s technology infrastructure worldwide; maintenance, improvement of operational systems and applications; budgeting; advise on technology developments relevant to ADI’s needs
• General IT support: serve as the point person for immediate technology support, including software and hardware issues, mainly MS, some Apple support
• IT support to configure and maintain devices; set up technology access for new staff; departing staff closures
• Organize staff training, produce reference guides and notes
• Maintain technology inventory and system updates
• Network and systems management: user policies, audits, troubleshooting strategies, as advised by external IT contractors.
• Advising senior leadership on developments in digital communications technology
• Liaise with external IT support to maintain SharePoint and ADI server

• Educated to degree level; information technology, computer science, network administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT support or systems administration.
• Experience with Mac and PC environments.
• Strong knowledge of hardware troubleshooting (computers, printers, networks).
• Good knowledge of wide range of applications
• Able to assist users of both Apple and MS products:
  Mac Book, iOS, Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.), Firefox, Adobe, SharePoint, Google Docs, Photoshop, Canva, Word Press, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.
• Comfortable learning new systems and supporting operational workflows; providing guidance and training notes for users.
• Experience working with external IT support for network management, servers, SharePoint.
• Plant-based lifestyle preferred.

Salary: $60-70,000/year (dependent on experience/qualifications).

Permanent, full time, exempt, at-will.
