Nexaminds is looking for an experienced Technical
Project Manager to lead and coordinate technology initiatives within the healthcare industry. This role will be responsible for managing cross‑functional projects, driving execution across engineering and business teams, monitoring project timelines, risks, and dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience managing software development or technology projects in healthcare environments, collaborating with technical teams and business stakeholders, and delivering projects in Agile environments while maintaining a strong focus on quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications we are looking for:
  • 7+ years of experience managing software development, IT, or digital transformation projects.
  • Proven experience managing projects within the Healthcare industry (providers, payers, healthcare technology, EHR/EMR, healthcare software, or related environments).
  • Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Product, QA, Infrastructure, and Business stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and traditional project management practices.
  • Experience managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource planning.
  • Ability to facilitate project planning, sprint ceremonies, status meetings, and executive communications.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in fast‑paced environments.
  • Excellent organizational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
Nice to have:
  • Experience supporting healthcare payers, providers, or health insurance organizations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.
  • Experience managing cloud modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or SAFe certifications.
  • Experience working with distributed or nearshore engineering teams.
Job duties:
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technology projects from planning through implementation.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate activities across Engineering, Product, QA, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, manage dependencies, and implement mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, project status meetings, and executive updates.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives, project priorities, and technical execution.
  • Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage communication with internal stakeholders, leadership teams, and external partners.
  • Escalate project issues when appropriate and drive resolution through cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize delivery processes and team collaboration.
  • Ensure projects comply with organizational standards, quality expectations, and healthcare industry requirements where applicable.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and project governance artifacts.
