Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of company data and systems This individual will work closely with the IT team to implement and enforce security protocols perform risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities The ideal candidate will have experience in information security strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently

Location Los Angeles Preference for Kenyan national

Salary $1500month negotiable based on experience

• Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security threats
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect company data
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities
• Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
• Collaborate with IT team to implement necessary security updates and patches
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Stay current on emerging threats and industry best practices in information security

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in information security or related field
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure firewalls intrusion detection systems etc
• Experience with vulnerability testing tools such as Nessus or Qualys
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
