POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a GIS Analyst to collect, process, analyze, and visualize geospatial data in support of federal and commercial clients. You will work alongside experienced geospatial professionals to produce maps, reports, and spatial analysis products that support planning, operations, and decision-making. This is a hands-on role for someone eager to apply their geospatial skills in a fast-paced consulting environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Collect, validate, and manage geospatial datasets from a variety of sources including field collection, imagery, and open data
- Perform spatial analysis using ArcGIS Pro and related Esri products to support client deliverables
- Produce high-quality maps, web maps, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholder reporting
- Maintain and update geospatial databases and feature classes in enterprise geodatabases
- Develop and document repeatable GIS workflows and standard operating procedures
- Support data conversion, migration, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) activities
- Collaborate with developers, project managers, and clients to meet project requirements and deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geospatial Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3 years of professional experience in GIS analysis or a related geospatial role
- Proficiency with Esri products (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise)
- Experience with spatial analysis, data management, and cartographic production
- Familiarity with geospatial data formats (shape files, geodatabases, GeoJSON, raster formats)
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying and managing spatial data Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Experience with Python scripting (Arc Py or ArcGIS API for Python) for workflow automation
- Familiarity with open-source GIS tools (QGIS, GDAL, Geo Pandas)
- Experience with remote sensing, imagery analysis, or UAS/drone data products
- Familiarity with ArcGIS Dashboards, Story Maps, or Experience Builder
- Interest in or exposure to AI/LLM integration in geospatial workflows
- GISP credential or Esri Technical Certification
