About UsA Treeline business unit specializing in managed IT services for nonprofits, schools, and healthcare organizations is looking for its first local Client Engineer in Los Angeles.
The Role We are looking for a Client Engineer to be the technical partner our LA clients rely on. This is a field-based, hybrid role. You will manage your own schedule, drive to client sites around the LA metro, and own client relationships, not just a ticket queue. As an early hire in a growing market, you will help shape how we serve our LA clients.
Mileage is reimbursed. This is hands-on client IT engineering, not a remote-only help desk. Candidates must be based in the Portland metro area at the time of hire. Relocation is not supported for this role.
- Support clients across Microsoft 365, identity (Entra ), endpoints, networks, and servers, both onsite and remotely
- Own client relationships and small projects end to end
- Troubleshoot at the infrastructure layer:
Microsoft 365 tenant configuration, networking, and endpoint management across multiple client environments - Explain technical issues clearly to non-technical staff and executives, and document as you go
- Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting networks, servers, endpoints, and identity, whether onsite or remote
- Three or more years in IT support; multi-client or MSP experience strongly preferred
- Solid Microsoft 365 administration, Entra , and networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
- A strong communicator who builds trust with clients and can adapt to any audience
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102) preferred
- Comfortable driving to client sites across the LA metro
Compensation $70,000 to $85,000 per year, based on experience.
