Field Service Technician

Description

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, customer-focused, and comfortable traveling to various sites to provide technical support and service.

Key Responsibilities

+ Configure, deploy, and support iPads used by field personnel.

+ Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and application-related issues.

+ Assist users with login problems, password resets, device enrollment, and application access.

+ Install updates, security patches, and mobile applications.

+ Support mobile device management (MDM) platforms such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf, or Mobile Iron.

+ Diagnose Wi-Fi, cellular, and VPN connectivity issues.

+ Replace defective devices and coordinate warranty or repair services.

+ Maintain accurate records of device inventory, support tickets, and service activities.

+ Provide one-on-one technical assistance and training to end users.

+ Escalate complex technical issues to internal IT teams when necessary.

Requirements

Qualifications

+ Associate degree or technical certification preferred.

+ 2+ years of field service, maintenance, or technical support experience.

+ Experience supporting Apple iOS devices, particularly iPads.

+ Basic understanding of mobile device management (MDM) platforms.

+ Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and user account support.

+ Strong customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

+

Experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra , Apple Business Manager, or Jamf.

+ Experience supporting election, retail, healthcare, education, or field-service operations.

+ Knowledge of wireless networking and cellular data services.

+ Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or similar certification.
