Senior Director, Technical Documentation

• Own the documentation infrastructure for FTI Technology's data and intelligence platform
• Produce and maintain the data dictionary, architecture documentation, API specifications, and integration guides
• Produce model documentation packages for AI and ML capabilities, including training data provenance, assumption disclosures, validation methodology, version history, and performance monitoring
• Create documentation contracts enabling IQ.AI, FTI Connect, Reveal, and Relativity to integrate with the platform
• Work across engineering, data, security, and operations teams to extract technical knowledge and convert it into usable artifacts
• Collaborate with adjacent product teams including IQ.AI, FTI Connect, and Tech Ops
• Communicate technical information to engineers and senior leadership
• Establish documentation standards, tooling, and processes for adoption by other FTI Technology teams

• 10+ years producing technical documentation for data platforms, AI systems, or quantitative models in a professional environment
• A quantitative background (statistics, mathematics, econometrics, or equivalent)
• Must travel to clients and FTI offices
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Position does not provide visa sponsorship
• Understanding of model operation, assumptions, and associated risks
• Strong technical writing skills
• Ability to produce technically rigorous and readable model specifications
• Ability to write usable API references
• Ability to establish and enforce documentation standards
• Experience in financial services, legal technology, or another regulated industry is preferred
• Familiarity with model risk management standards is highly valued

Demonstrates expertise in producing and maintaining technical documentation for data platforms and AI systems, with a strong focus on documentation standards and model risk management. Capable of effectively communicating complex technical information to diverse teams and stakeholders.
