Regulating Messaging Engineer

We are looking for Regulating Messaging Engineer for the client in US. This is remote opportunity

only for W2 candidate.

This team is responsible for the engineering and issue resolution involving the capture and retention of written electronic communications. This role will be responsible for the enhancement, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the regulated messaging retention platform.

Monitor, maintain, and enhance written electronic communications transport services via SMTP.

Manage and enhance Windows Server and IIS infrastructure.

Develop Python-based automation and integrations to address technology gaps and improve operational efficiency.

Coordinate efforts between product engineering, operations, and key stakeholders.

Ensure infrastructure capacity planning, scalability, and operational resilience.

Serve as an escalation point for complex technical and operational issues.

Design, deploy, and oversee regulated messaging and communications archiving solutions that meet global compliance requirements.

Implement and manage Electronic Compliance and Retention Governance frameworks for messaging and email platforms.

Configure, test, and administer Proofpoint archiving and retention solutions.

Lead integration architecture and connectivity across compliance platforms, including Teams, Symphony, Bloomberg, and other messaging technologies.

Drive complex migrations while ensuring adherence to change management, security and regulatory requirements.

Communicate program status, risks, and key milestones to stakeholders and senior leadership.

• Email retention or vaulting
• Firewall rules and network fundamentals
• Proofpoint Enterprise Archive (Not Proofpoint Email DLP & Encryption, Email Fraud Defense, or Enterprise DLP)
