The Senior Taxonomy & Metadata Specialist leads the strategic and operational management of content classification, metadata governance, and digital asset organization across the Marketing & Digital ecosystem. This role combines deep taxonomy and metadata expertise with hands-on leadership of content operations to ensure assets are structured, discoverable, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
You will lead the development and implementation of metadata frameworks, taxonomy models, and content workflows that strengthen governance, improve operational efficiency, and support more personalized customer experiences.
- Lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise taxonomies and metadata schemas across marketing and digital platforms.
- Develop and enforce policies and standards for metadata consistency, content tagging, and taxonomy use across teams and systems.
- Serve as the domain expert, advising stakeholders on best practices and emerging trends.
- Oversee and optimize taxonomy implementations in Adobe Workfront, Adobe DAM, AI applications, and other critical tagging systems, including Claravine, Seismic, and Toppan Merrill.
- Develop operational reporting, quality assurance processes, and workflow automation to keep content governed, consistent, and accessible.
- Partner with Marketing, Digital, Compliance, Data, and IT to align taxonomy and metadata strategies with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Create training and documentation that support taxonomy adoption and build metadata literacy across the organization.
- Maintain continuous stakeholder communication to support content production, governance, and optimization.

- You have 7+ years of relevant experience in taxonomy and metadata management, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
