Sign Language Interpreter supports students and staff in a school setting, facilitating communication between hearing and hearing-impaired individuals. The role requires strong communication, background checks, and flexibility to work school shifts. This contract position offers up to $65 per hour and benefits from the organization.

• Provide sign language interpretation between students and staff in a school environment.
• Support communication for students with hearing impairments during classroom activities and events.
• Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to ensure effective communication strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of interpreted sessions and communication notes.
• Adhere to school district policies regarding confidentiality and professional conduct.

• Fingerprinting required.
• Must pass background check.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work scheduled day shifts (7:30am-3:30pm).
• Flexible to work 32-40 hours per week based on school schedule.
• Physical ability to work in a school environment.
