Bilingual Business Facilitator, Japanese, English

• Provide real-time interpretation for internal communications across Business Development, PR, and Social Media Marketing divisions
• Facilitate communication between clients and internal staff through accurate, culturally nuanced interpretation
• Support business development and sales activities with interpretation
• Provide interpretation at events and conventions
• Translate Japanese client materials into English for internal teams
• Translate English internal documents into Japanese
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in translated materials
• Act as a cultural liaison and explain cultural nuances to Japanese- and English-speaking team members
• Help adapt marketing strategies for different cultural contexts

• Native-level proficiency in both Japanese and English
• Professional experience in interpretation and translation, preferably in the entertainment or marketing industry
• Degree in Translation, Interpretation, Communications, or a related field
• Knowledge of the film and anime industries
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
• Deep understanding of cultural differences between Japan and the United States
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with translation support tools
• Experience in marketing, PR, and social media management is a plus
• Experience operating major social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
• Familiarity with entertainment industry terminology and trends
