Full-time Litigation Associate We are seeking a skilled Litigation Associate with a strong background in commercial litigation to support our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, research, and writing skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial litigation matters
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Assist in case strategy development and implementation
  • Participate in all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation
  • Attend court hearings, trials, and arbitrations
  • Manage document review and production processes
  • Interact with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Collaborate with partners and other associates on case management
  • Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends
  • Contribute to business development efforts and client relationships
  • Mentor junior associates and paralegals
  • Participate in firm committees and initiatives
  • Qualifications

    Required:
    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
    • Active membership in good standing with the California state bar
    • 4+ years of experience in commercial litigation
    • Strong academic credentials
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis Nexis)
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
    Preferred:
    • Experience in a top-tier law firm or judicial clerkship
    • Knowledge of e-discovery platforms and processes
    • Familiarity with specific areas of commercial litigation (e.g., contract disputes, intellectual property, securities)
    • Second language proficiency
