Real Estate Associate

Our client is seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate to join their Los Angeles office. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated attorney with 5–10 years of experience to work on complex and high-value transactions in the commercial real estate sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and negotiating construction contracts as well as handling a broad range of general real estate matters.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate construction contracts.
• Handle acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing of commercial real estate properties.
• Conduct title and survey review and provide advice on risk allocation and mitigation.
• Support the development of commercial properties from inception through completion.
• Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to manage transactions efficiently and effectively.
• Provide strategic legal guidance to support clients’ business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in California (or eligibility to waive in).
• 5–10 years of substantive experience in real estate law, including both construction and general transactional matters.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Competitive salary range: $245,000 – $285,000 per year.
