Sepulveda Law Group – Junior Attorney – Litigation, Personal Injury

This is an in‑office full‑time position.

Base pay range: $75,000.00 / yr – $ / yr.

• Handle personal injury case files from start to finish.
• Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients.
• Draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Research case law and premises liability; gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case (prefer experience with Westlaw).
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information.
• Negotiate suitable agreements, offers, and appropriately settle on the clients’ behalf.
• Make court appearances at hearings, trials, attend mediations, depositions, and litigation throughout the entire state of California.
• Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system (Preferred experience with Case Peer).
• Manage a team of personal injury paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretaries.
• Track work calendar, including appointments and court deadlines pursuant to the California Code of Civil Procedure.
• Calculate costs and compensation totals to support drafting settlement breakdowns to present to client and insurance providers.

• JD, passed license, and admitted to the California State Bar.
