. This is an In-Office position, either Stockton or Los Angeles, CA - FT.

• Handle personal injury case files from start to finish, carrying case load.
• Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients.
• Draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents.
• Research case law and premises liability; gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case (preferred experience with Westlaw).
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information.
• Negotiate suitable agreements offers and appropriately settle on the clients’ behalf.
• Make court appearances at hearings, trials, attend mediations, depositions, and litigation throughout the entire state of California.
• Document and update the status of all case files in case management.
• Manage a team of personal injury paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretaries.
• Track work calendar, including appointment and court deadlines pursuant to the California Code of Civil Procedure.
• Calculate costs and compensation totals in support of drafting settlement breakdowns to present to client and insurance providers.

• Preferred experience with Case Peer.

• JD, passed Licensed and admitted to the California State Bar.
• Experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury – preferred 1–5 years.
