Our fast-growing personal injury law firm is seeking an experienced and proactive Intake Attorney to lead our Intake Department. The ideal candidate will supervise intake staff, oversee department operations, and personally communicate with potential clients to evaluate case viability. This role requires strong leadership skills, legal expertise, and the ability to ensure prospective clients receive exceptional service during a critical time.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the Intake Department to ensure seamless operations.

Supervise intake staff, provide guidance, and conduct regular performance evaluations.

Directly communicate with potential clients to assess case viability and answer legal questions.

Develop and implement efficient intake processes and procedures.

Ensure accurate documentation of potential client information in the firm’s systems.

Review and approve retainer agreements and other client documents.

Collaborate with marketing and management teams to optimize client onboarding.

Requirements:

Active membership in the California State Bar.

Prior experience in personal injury law, with intake or supervisory experience preferred.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

Proficient in client management systems and legal documentation.

Commitment to providing empathetic and professional service to potential clients.
