Bergman and Allderdice is an LA-based boutique law firm practicing in the nonprofit and community and economic development law space, including the formation and governance of charitable organizations, affordable housing and real estate financing transactions utilizing tax credits.
We are seeking a part-time transactional attorney with 3+ years of corporate real estate transactional experience. Ideally, the candidate also has familiarity with nonprofits, as well as transactional corporate and real estate experience, and is committed to supporting nonprofits and charitable causes, including projects that aim to reverse blight and create housing and jobs in impoverished communities. A strong candidate is enthusiastic, hardworking, organized, able to conduct research and complete projects in a timely manner, a problem solver and able to think outside of the box.

Qualifications- 3+ years of real estate, real estate finance, tax law and/or affordable housing background required;
- Interested in working with nonprofit organizations;
- Strong drafting, writing and research skills;
- Eagerness to learn, especially if new to the nonprofit field; and
- Detail-oriented.
- Pay commensurate with experience;

- Hybrid work schedule.
