Salary
$100k-$160k+ (Compensation is completely open & flexible for strong candidates)
OverviewPlaintiff-side law firm seeking an Associate Attorney to handle tenant habitability and landlord-tenant litigation matters. Attorney will manage cases from intake through resolution or trial.
Responsibilities- Handle a caseload of habitability/tenant rights cases
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Negotiate settlements
- Prepare cases for trial
- Active State Bar license in California
- 3-5+ years civil litigation experience (plaintiff-side preferred)
- Strong writing, litigation, and case management skills
- Comfortable managing deadlines and court appearances
- Experience in habitability, landlord-tenant, or personal injury litigation
- Trial experience or strong interest in trial work
