West Coast Trial Lawyers is seeking an experienced Insurance Adjuster with a strong background in bodily injury, liability evaluation, and negotiations. This role is ideal for someone coming directly from the insurance industry who is ready to bring their claims‑handling expertise into a fast‑paced law firm environment. We are looking for someone who is assertive, detail‑oriented, and confident in managing complex BI claims from start to finish.

Full-time

• Handle and evaluate bodily injury (soft‑tissue, moderate, and severe) and property damage claims with accuracy and efficiency
• Review liability, damages, medical records, police reports, and statements
• Conduct thorough investigations, including photos, diagrams, inspections, and recorded statements
• Manage a high‑volume caseload with strong organizational habits
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and third parties
• Communicate with medical providers, adjusters, and clients to move claims forward
• Document all claim activity clearly and consistently
• Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams on strategy when needed
• (Preferred) Familiarity with pre‑litigation processes and understanding of how BI claims transition into litigation

• 5+ years of experience handling bodily injury and liability claims
• Strong negotiation skills and confidence in evaluating claim value
• Ability to manage high‑volume BI caseloads with minimal oversight
• Experience with systems such as CCC, Mitchell, Lexis Nexis, DMV search tools, and other industry platforms
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Someone who is aggressive, proactive, and able to push cases forward
• Background from an insurance carrier or insurance defense environment
• No legal experience required, we will train you on our processes
